Legal information
Privacy policy
How personal data may be processed when you visit phpfuture.com.
The hosting provider, server logs, retention periods and any transfers outside the European Economic Area must be confirmed against the actual production setup. Items marked “SAMPLE” do not describe the future live service.
1. Controller
The controller is Andreas Weigel, Meisenweg 11, 01589 Riesa, Germany. Email: hi@phpfuture.com. Further details are shown in the legal notice.
2. Website access and server logs
Technically necessary connection data is processed to deliver the website. Depending on the production host, this may include your IP address, the time of access, the requested file, the amount of data transferred, the HTTP status, browser and device information, and the referring page. The purposes are to provide the website and to detect and prevent faults and attacks. Article 6(1)(f) GDPR may provide the legal basis; the legitimate interest would be secure and reliable operation.
Hosting provider: SAMPLE — [name and address]. Server location: SAMPLE — [country]. Recipients/processors: SAMPLE — [provider and any CDN]. Retention period for access and security logs: SAMPLE — [specific period or criteria].
3. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your message, email address and any other information you provide to answer your request. Depending on the request, Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR may be the legal basis. Email service provider and recipients: SAMPLE — [provider and recipients]. Deletion: SAMPLE — [deletion criterion and any statutory retention period].
4. Local fonts, image and website functions
The font files and legal-notice image are served by phpfuture.com itself. The back-to-top control uses your scroll position only in the browser and does not store it. The current static website has no built-in analytics, contact form or embedded content from third-party websites. Any additional services used by the production host must be checked before publication.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The website sets the first-party cookie phpfuture_intro_seen for 365 days after showing the introduction. It stores only the value 1 so the introduction is skipped on later visits; the “Replay intro” link lets you view it again. The website uses neither Local Storage nor tracking scripts. Production host functions: SAMPLE — [cookies, security or CDN functions and any required consent].
6. External links and donations
We link to independent project and community websites and to The PHP Foundation. Their content is not embedded when you merely visit phpfuture.com. Only when you follow a link do you visit the external website, whose operator is responsible for its own data processing. Donations take place solely through The PHP Foundation's channels, not through phpfuture.com.
7. Transfers outside the EEA
SAMPLE — [recipients, legal basis and safeguards, or confirm no transfers].
8. Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing. You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
9. Provision of data and automated decisions
You do not need to actively enter personal information merely to visit the website; technically necessary connection data arises when the site is requested. The current concept does not include automated decision-making or profiling.
Draft dated 26 October 2026. All sample information and statements about the production setup must be verified before publication.
